The focused Time Frame for active investing is 6 months or greater, thus we will be focused on the Monthlies, Weeklies and Dailies, rather than on Intraday charts.
The point of the class is to teach a Self-Managed method of investing, rather than having to sacrifice good portions of profits to Managed Money such as Managed Accounts, Over-exposure to (non-Indexed) Mutual Funds. You will gain greater control over your Financial Exposure, and to allow yourself to learn from the fascinating world of the financial markets. This education will help you whether you want to have a specific investment account, or just simple allocations for your 401K, IRA’s or College Education investing.
The class begins from the ground-up, and is suitable even for those who have no prior self-managed investment experience. We will discuss the basics and foundational concepts in investing.
We will discuss the different asset classes and characteristics of them. This is covered in order to set a good foundation and to help you identify asset allocation specific to your needs.
Classifying Risk and Determining Tolerance is a very important foundational aspect of the course
The Key Concepts explained in this course include proper allocation, portfolio diversity, investor flexibility and how to perform your periodic analysis.
We will cover Funds and distinguishing one Fund type to the other, as well as identifying key characteristics that are important to Allocation
We will also examine the combined approach of Fundamental and Technical analysis as a new modern way to select Financial Assets
